Goodbye to Mr Edward Kajdański

With the utmost regret we`ve learned about the death of Mr Edward Kajdański, the greatest Polish "boymist" and pioneer of the research dedicated to the heritage of Father Michael Boym. Mr Kajdański died on September 10th in the age of 95. He left behind many scientific essays and books, beautiful drawings in the Chinese style of "zhongcai" and a group of grateful admirers of his work.

On September 20th, the founders of the Foundation, accompanied by other friends and supporters of Michał Boym, took part in the official reception party celebrating the 70th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Poland and the People`s Republic of China which was organized at the Chinese Embassy.
The children`s book about Father Boym already in print

We are happy to announce that the children`s book on Father Boym "How Michał from Lviv traveled to China" written by professor Monika Miazek-Męczyńska is already available in print. One thousand printed copies will be distributed for free among public school libraries. The book received financing of the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, The Fund for Promotion of Culture.
